Kitty sweater

I knit this Intarsia kitty sweater for my first granddaughter, Mia! It's knit with Brown Sheep Wildfoote yarn. Who says sock yarn is just for feet?! It's warm and machine washable. Kitty is knit to resemble Mia's real kitty, Lola.

Cotton "Scooter" Sweater

Cotton Sweater with Scooter buttons. Mia will have to grow a bit for this one!

Hats for Mia

I found some great stretchy yarn for hats at Imagiknit Yarn shop in San Francisco.
It's Needful Dubai Stretch yarn. This and some double point needles made for some fun and easily knit hats.

Infant socks

All that leftover sock yarn I had was perfect for tiny socks. The red/white/grey striped ones are just like Mia's mommy's socks. Awwwww!

Mia's Baby Blanket

Personalized blankets.

It's hard to see, but "MIA" is embossed in the white band of this pink blanket knit with Berroco Cotton 100 yarn, which is sadly discontinued. My Grandson, Hayden's favorite blanket is a red one just like Mia's. Hayden is so attached to his that he still sleeps with it. Almost 4 years of dragging around and multiple washings. Hayden's blanket now has patches made from whatever yarn was in my knitting bag when I was visiting. He loves his blanket - patches and all! And I love Hayden and his brother, Jack just as much as I love Mia!
